I'm sorry you are dealing with that. It must be very hard to be at that age and be without nice looking teeth. I had braces at your age and have thanked my parents over and over since then, for prividing that for me. My daughter needed them for years and I could not afford it. I looked everywhere and found no help. I finally found an orthodontist about an hour away, that had a cheaper price (they are around $5000) and would accept monthly payments, instead of wanting all the money up front.
I really hope you find help for this. I wish I had the money to give you. If I did, I would gladly pay for you to get them! Hopefully, there is someone here who will be able to provide you with more info on this. I wonder if there are any grants for this? If I find anything out, I will let you know.

Hi I am a 16 years old I need braces desperately and I have no insurance of any kind and i really need dental work , its just my mother and I and she doesn't make much and we cant afford them and i would like to be able to smile with confidence instead of embarrassment. please if there is anyone out there that knows of anyone who would donate brace or cheap price for brace because i think they range from 1000 to 6000 and thats just not possible for us.

I'm am in terrible need of dental work. I live in Atlanta and I'm willing to be part of a research study if this will help replace missing teeth. There are metal fillings in my mouth from the military and I've found this to be corrosive at best. Please help.

Hi my name is Danielle I am 22 years old. My teeth have just recently gotten really bad even though I brush them everyday. The effects of my childhood are def eating at me. My parents weren't able to provide proper dental care to all 5 kids. I have noone left to ask for help and would really just like to ge my teeth fixed so that I am no longer in pain. My grandson, Fort Worth, Texas is 21; his teeth need to be saved. And really none of it is for pretty. All of his teeth need to be saved before he looses them all. He has no enamel and his teeth are weak therefore need attention...like yesterday. My grandson's teeth are far worse than even he realized. He wants to just save his teeth. After consulting with a dentist he was advised that if he doesn't have the work done he could lose them all; that they all will get cavities because the enamel is gone. Even though my grandaughter and her mom; as well as me will pitch in, there is no way we can come up with the figure we were quoted. PLEASE is there someone out there that knows a dentist will help him save his teeth before it is too late? Thanks for reading and replying to this post.

HI, I am a hard working female in Massachusetts with Medical insurance but no dental. I am in severe pain and need a root canal but can't seem to find a dentist who will accept cash payments, direct debit from checking or post dated checks. I don't have the $1200-$1500 up front and have been living in pain for nearly 2 months now. Does anyone know a denist that accepts payments? Due to poor credit choices and school loans I am not eligible for any of the dental credit programs - TRUST ME I have applied for all of them. Thank you for any info, Melissa

Hi...I'm a 62 yr. old who is loosing her teeth. My two upper front teeth is so short, I guess from grinding my teeth. I live on social security and have bad credit so no dentist here in Las Vegas is willing to give me a chance to make payments. I've got most of my teeth gone and what I have left hurts so bad. I have to cook soft food so I can eat. I cannot chew anything crunchy. My last dentist told me that it would cost me over $3000.00 to get my teeth fixed. It's too late for anything but dentures up and down. I can make the monthy payment, just cannot get credit. Most dentist that I've been to here in Las Vegas won't let you make monthly payments. I have no insurance...PLEASE HELP ME. I've got my 45th class reunion coming up and won't go looking like this...aloha, Toni

I have been divorced for a long time and my dental care has been negleted due to lack of services to people who cant affored dental services and up keep for their teeth.I am in need of tooth restoration to keep my teeth healty as I go into my 50`s. Any kind person who can give adice or assist with this matter I would pay back in payments. Hi It is really disgusting the way health care is in this country . There are so many people hurting and yet the money that we contribute in taxes doesn't support a program that will truly help anybody . It is so disheartening to read about all the people on this pagethat are SUFFERING with their mouths hurting and yet they have no recourse to take care of the problem. How can people survive like this ? I wish people in government in this country were forced to live as a person on minimum wage with no health insurance. I have a friend , who reminds me of the government . She told me "I think I finally came to the point where I can give everything up for God. " I said " o.k. , stop using your car and take the bus so that you understand what it is like for people who are less wealthy than you ." she said " I couldn't possibly do that , I have way too many important things to do ." Maybe the government has " too many important things to do " They need a knock on the side of the head , like I feel my friend needs. The government is similar to my friend in that she had wonderful things to say about what she would do , but when reality hit , she couldn't handle it. Something has to change !!!!!!!!!!!!! If you work for the government and you are reading the stories on this page , you already care more than the majority of government people. Please spread the word about what is going on. soulight

Hello, my name is Phillip and I am in need of some serious dental work. I am in constant pain and I have lost serveral teeth. I have also had serveral teeth break. I have recently been given a promotion in whicl I am in personal contact with the public. At this moment I have very low self esteam because I am aware that I don't look as professional as I would like to. My boss has given me some time to get them fixed but I am finanically strapped. Hi I am a single mom of two. After a long and hard divorce I am finalley able to breath. I work as a CNA and going back to school. There is no money left to afford health or dental insurance. I would like to laugh out loud and share a smile with the patients, but I don't dare to do that. I do not socialize much either, because the first thing people judge you on is appearance, and as soon as I attempt to smile, I already get judged by my teeth. Please help. Hi my name is sahra I am 21 years old and have two children. I currently attend FMU school for business and am in desperate need for imediate dental help. When i had my first child almost three years ago my teeth started decaying due too lack of calcium, after my second child it was an unstoppable problem. I am a 41 year single mom that went back to college to earn a degree and was laid off 2 times this year in the homebuilding industry. I have 2 children with little help finicialy from their father and we have with no insurance of any kind. I have not been able to afford to go to a dentist for several years now and I am in danger of losing enough teeth that I won't be able to eat. I don't want to lose my teeth and have spent a lot of years and money trying to take care of them. I have had my wisdom teeth pulled and am in danger of losing the only other teeth I can use to chew food. The back teeth on both sides of my mouth in the bottom of my mouth have broken apart. They had so much filling in them and now they are just pieces left. I can not chew anything for fear of breaking them even more and being in constant pain. I just need to have the massive fillings put back in my mouth for the time being. I can not afford to have crowns at this time and I just want to be able to keep the teeth. Can you please help me.

I am a 53 year veteran who cannot get dental benefits.My teeth are rotting away. I have grandchildren who are scared to kiss grandpa because it looks ugley. i cant laugh or smile with them because of my teeth looking so ugly. I came accross this website while looking for ways to save on dental care. They recently had a dentist from Seattle join their staff, and given the choice of seeing a Mexican dentist and a US dentist, I would see the US dentist, especially if I can save 50%! I have called them and spoke with the receptionist and the dentist, and they speak English, and are very professional. As soon as I get the cash together, I will be going there.
